About Me

May 22nd, 2019 we both got in line for the Arc De Triomphe after a hot and busy Parisian day. Hearing a fellow English speaker Kathleen spun around and introduced herself to me (Marko). A blissful 48 hours later we parted ways, figuring that what happens in Paris stays in Paris. Fast forward to May 25th, 2024. We have been living together in Philadelphia for three years, and just gotten married! Turns out that saying only goes for Vegas after all.

Well, there’s a lot more to the story than just that but there is one crucial detail to include. When Kathleen first asked me out after years of being friends, I said no… The reason being that I had a dream to travel the world and road trip South America, I was not about to jeopardize that. But I could see in Kathleen that she had the same spirit of adventure, and in her mind she saw an opportunity for the honeymoon of a life time. Well both our dreams are coming true, we have saved and worked hard to afford ourselves one year of bare bones budget travel, the best kind! So join us as we explore, Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and maybe more.
